We have over 150 employees that we are proud to have represent us, operating from our offices in Manchester, Belfast, Dublin, and Glasgow. As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to further extend our renewables team by recruiting an experienced wind & solar energy engineer to be based in our Dublin office.

What we are looking for:

  • A good science or engineering-based degree
  • Project management experience gained with the development and construction or operational phases of large-scale wind energy projects (on and offshore)
  • Previous experience of using industry standard software to make wind resource and energy yield assessments
  • Prior experience with the undertaking of feasibility studies and design reviews
  • Significant project management experience gained during the development, construction or operational phases of large-scale solar farm energy projects
  • Experience in the financing of renewable energy projects, ideally including technical due diligence exposure
  • Good understanding of the key technical risks with wind & solar projects, including the ability to identify potential technical design or installation risks
  • Technical due diligence experience ideally gained when working on behalf of a financial institution
  • Knowledge of standard forms of contract and their applicability to the construction and renewable energy project sector
  • The ability to correctly interpret engineering drawings, models, specifications and functional descriptions
  • Prior experience with the preparation of high-quality technical reports and models for clients
  • The ability to evaluate, explain and simplify complex technical issues
  • Able and willing to travel in the UK, Republic of Ireland and occasionally further afield for client meetings, site visits, factory tests, etc
